The sister projects Cultural-E, syn.ikia and EXCESS organise the workshop ‘What is beyond energy efficiency? The overlooked values of Sustainable Plus Energy Buildings and Neighbourhoods’ in the framework of the EU Week of Regions and Cities.
This event aims to raise awareness of the multiple benefits of Sustainable Plus Energy buildings (PEBs) and Neighbourhoods (SPENs). Through a workshop session, the speakers will provide evidence of the importance of a multiple-benefit approach when it comes to design plus energy buildings and neighbourhoods. They will also collect policymakers’ needs on this matter and discuss how to ensure a broad application of methodologies to quantify and monetise the above-mentioned benefits.
The event takes place on 11 October from 11 am to 1 pm at the NTNU Brussels Office.
