Last 16th November 2023, Cultural-E partner Eurofinestra was on the premises of MERKLEGRUPPE – the façade manufacturer of the German demo case – to perform an installation trial of the Active Window System (AWS) prototype within the prefabricated façade.
The installation test was performed together with the company in charge of the AWS installation in this demo case Schreinerei BURR. This process was key to transferring the AWS installation procedure steps from the manufacturer Eurofinestra to the installer, and to verifying the proper interface design between the prefabricated facade and the Active Window System. Moreover, it will allow to kick off the production of the different systems for the construction of this demo case.
