The Cultural-E team was invited to the session ‘Research and Innovation for the Decarbonisation of Buildings’ of the COP28 EU Side programme.
About 36% of EU GHG (Greenhouse gas) emissions are due to buildings. Therefore, decarbonisation of the building sector is one of the main areas of action in EU Green Deal energy policies. During the session, the Cultural-E key research results on this matter were presented, as well as current policy-relevant research related to mitigation and decarbonisation of the buildings sector.
