The Steinbeis-Innovationszentrum energieplus, siz energieplus is specialized in research and demonstration work on innovative energy efficient building solutions in the field of renewable energies, energy conservation in buildings and rational use of energy. siz energieplus (former SIZ EGS) and team got several prizes such as the German Solar Price 2008 and the European Solar Price 2015. It is headquarted in Stuttgart and part of the Steinbeis Transfer Network which is an international service provider in technology and knowledge transfer with nearly 1.000 independent Steinbeis Enterprises.

Siz energieplus is the technical project advisor for the German demo case in the CULTURAL-E project.

Leader of SIZ EGS. Diploma in Mechanical engineering, PhD on “Large-scale solar district heating with seasonal storage”. Fields of expertise are company management, project management, energy conception, sustainability assessment and optimizing operations. He has additional qualifications as official expert EnEV, DBNB Auditor, experts group “comfort” of DGNB.

Diploma in Architecture, Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Competence. 10 years of experience in energy design and has worked within a number of EU-Projects and national funded research projects. Fields of expertise are energy concepts and studies concerning climate neutral energy supply and LCA of buildings including grey energy demand.
