On November 13 and 14 2024, Eurofinestra participated in the ARCHITECT@WORK Milan trade fair, a landmark event for architects and designers, presenting its contribution to the Cultural-E project, dedicated to Positive Energy Buildings (PEBs). The booth hosted a section dedicated to the Active Window System (AWS), an innovative technology based on the window system. This system combines a modular wood and cork frame with advanced dynamic shading and decentralized ventilation features designed to improve energy efficiency and living comfort.
The fair, which registered 3,845 entries from industry professionals, was an important opportunity to introduce the Cultural-E project to a highly qualified audience, bringing it to the attention of architects, engineers and academics. This enabled the promotion of dialogue on innovative and sustainable building solutions. Currently being tested in demonstration buildings, the AWS represents a concrete solution to promote sustainability, in line with the goals of the Cultural-E project.
