Project coordinator

Annamaria Belleri is senior researcher in the group of Energy Efficient Buildings at the Institute of Renewable Energy.
She completed her Ph.D. in Energy and Environment Technology at the University of Bergamo (Italy) in 2014.
Her research is focused on passive cooling solutions, strategies and design methods to effectively exploit natural ventilation potential when available, with the objective to provide a good indoor environment quality and to reduce building energy consumption. She developed tools to support ventilation design, promoted use of natural ventilation into case studies and provided scientific consultancies to companies and designers. She was involved as task co-leader in the IEA Annex 62 “Ventilative cooling” project and is currently involved as external expert in the CEN/TC 156/WG21 on “Ventilative cooling systems” standardization.

Marco Bailo works as administrative and financial project manager in Eurac Research.
He graduated in development cooperation at the University of Trieste and in languages at the University of Roma Tre.
Marco works in the management and control fields, monitoring tasks and their relevant budget, ensuring the compliance with the Horizon 2020 rules and doing the financial reporting. He has a background as a freelance consultant in the management and design of projects in the fields of education and training and start-ups. Marco has experience as project coordinator and in the interaction with external stakeholders.

Graduated in Building Engineering at Politecnico di Torino in October 2014, after an experience in the field of Project and Construction Management in Milan, he starts a PhD in Energetics at Politecnico di Torino. From June to December 2018, he spends a visiting research period at the Sustainable Buildings Research Centre (SBRC) of the University of Wollogong (Australia). In July 2020 he obtains the PhD degree with the thesis “Exploiting the potential of adaptive building components by means of innovative control strategies”.

Francesco is now a Postdoctoral Researcher within the Energy Efficient Buildings group of Eurac Research. His research topics concern the improvement of the energy performance and comfort conditions in buildings by exploiting advanced control strategies during operation.

Cristian Pozza is Senior Researcher in the Energy Efficient Buildings group – Institute for Renewable Energy, Eurac Research in Bolzano, Italy. Degree in Electrical Engineering – Automation, PhD in Industrial Engineering. He contributed in several research projects and technology transfer/startup initiatives related to energy efficiency in buildings, HVAC system development, innovative processes for production and recycling of PV modules.
