Second Cultural-E Webinar on “Breaking Barriers in Plus Energy Building Design: Insights from frontrunners projects”
During the second online webinar on the PEB HUB, the new features of the Plus Energy Building Repository have been presented to the audience, together with PEB Interest Group on the ACE HUB, a dedicated space for PEB professionals to exchange information and insights.
Participants had the chance to listen and interact with the speakers addressing the following questions:
- What are the main challenges in designing a PEB?

How can the PEB HUB support different PEB professionals?
The first case presented by Evy Ann Buverud, Architect and Partner at Sor arkitekter is the Cultural-E Norwegian Eiksveien 116 Demo Case in Baerum (NO), a 12 units building part of the Assisted living and welfare technology programme.
The second case, presented by Maialen Ariz Sarasketa, Architect and Director of the Strategic Project Office at Pamplona City Council, is the San Pedro Housing Renovation project in Pamplona. This case study is part of the EU-funded project oPEN Lab, that in Pamplona is working on the innovative energy rehabilitation in 12 rented social housing units.
Both presentations, shared with the audience the different technologies implemented in the buildings and the different challenges faced together with the lessons learned.
