Since 1954 VORTICE is synonymous with quality, reliability, design and excellence in the ventilation system.

Nowadays VORTICE is a multinational Group operating through its own subsidiaries or through local dealers in more than 90 countries around the world, in the sectors of residential, commercial and industrial ventilation.

The historic headquarters of VORTICE SpA are located in Tribiano (Milan). 300 people are currently employed in the different branches of the Group, working in three different continents: Europe, Asia and South America.
VORTICE is one of the technological partners of the Cultural-E project.

Fabrizio Miorin

MSc in Mechanical Engineering at Padua University, Fabrizio has been working for more than 30 years in leading groups of European heating industry, mainly in Italy but also in the Netherlands.

Focused on heat generation, heat transfer and energy distribution in hydronic system, he has developed more appliance and application patented. Low pollution and energy saving have been his main fields from a technical professional perspective. Many activities of his working groups have been shared with and sustained by academic community of Italian and European Universities.

He is currently the R&D Manager of VORTICE SpA., where the continuous improvement of Indoor Comfort is the main target.

Franco Di Eugenio

Franco Di Eugenio is an Aeronautic Engineer with over 25 years of experience in both Industrial (Automotive, Civil and Industrial Ventilation) and Research environments (Italian Government and EC).He is experienced in new products’ design and maintenance, as well as revamping of products already on the market. Starting from the concept studies up to the project final delivery (including feasibility and detailing studies), Franco has extensively used CAE-FEM-CFD tools such as: structural, thermal, vibrational, kinematic, multidisciplinary mechatronic and fluid-dynamics analyses.
Franco currently works for VORTICE SpA as Customer Engineering & Design Methods Manager.

Flavio Pozzi

Flavio is an Electronic Engineer  with a Master Degree in Electronic Engineering from University of Pavia). For the last 20 years he has been working as a hardware and firmware designer, with a special focus on hardware. In 2008 he joined the Chamber of Engineers of the Province of Milan.

Since 2016 Flavio has been working for VORTICE SpA as R&D Electronic Designer. Flavio is a team member in new product development and reference person for the prototype and testing ability.

Jacopo Bianchi

Jacopo Bianchi holds a Bachelor Degree in Industrial Design (2009) and a Master Degree in Design&Engineering (2012) at Politecnico di Milano. Jacopo has worked as a product designer developing concepts for different kind of products (from home washing machines to mannequins for fashion), then developed his knowledge in the field of product engineering, discovering also his love for 3d printing.

Jacopo currently combines this mixed experience working for VORTICE SpA as R&D Mechanical Designer.

Massimo Ranzani

Electromechanical specialist, Massimo Ranzani worked for 15 years in a well-known safety certification institution, with different levels of experience and roles (technician, sales and later certification specialist). Focused on safety and quality tests for the installation devices and even for the electrical appliances components, Massimo became a strong safety believer.

After starting 15 years ago at VORTICE SpA as technician, Massimo is now R&D Laboratory Manager in the electrical appliances sector. His goal is to keep the buildings healthy by moving and purifying the air of the domestic environments taking into account the heat recover.

Sara Costa

Sara Costa is Electronic Engineer with 12 years of experience gained both in FW Design and in Laboratory Test. Sara graduated in Electronic Engineering at University Politecnico di Milano and joined the Milan Chamber of Engineers in 2007. For some years she worked in the field of renewable energy as FW Designer for a patented project regarding photovoltaic panels; after that she worked in the washing machines sector, gaining Laboratory experience with EMC Tests and Climatic Tests.

Starting to work in VORTICE in 2014 as R&D Safety Technician, Sara is currently Reliability Technician in the household appliances area, contributing to improve the quality of VORTICE products.

Andrea Benzo

Andrea has over 30 years of career gained in finance, administration and management control area. After graduating in Accounting, Andrea worked in different business fields (publishing, service industry, pharmaceutical, real estate, university).

Since 2005 Andrea is working for VORTICE SpA as Management Control Supervisor Specialist in the Chief Financial Officer’s staff.

Irene Gambino

Irene Gambino has always been fascinated by the world of Communication and Marketing. This is the main reason that has driven her to get a Degree in Communication Sciences, a Master in Marketing Management (2004) and then a Master in Social Media Marketing (2015), enriching her professional profile.
For nearly 20 years now, Irene is working in the field of Marketing and Communications, alongside the heads of Division, which has allowed her to gain operational and strategic job experience.
She currently works for VORTICE SpA as Marketing Communications Specialist.
